Spotlight On Filipino Designers / Wedding Wednesday
June 17, 2015Welcome back to Wedding Wednesday if you've already been here before!
If not, hello! For the month of June, I've decided to share a few posts
related to weddings. This week I've highlighted three of the many
talented designers we have in the country.
Veluz Reyes
Veluz Reyes is, dare I say it, the Vera Wang of the Philippines. Her work — elegant, enthralling and detailed — has been the object of many brides-to-be's desires, and for good reason. Veluz's clients have nothing but praises not only for the designer's creations, but also how she is as a person. Impressed and inspired, some of the people the designer has worked with even made a film showcasing her life and work. Watch it below.

Julianne Syjuco
Julianne Syjuco is an up and coming force in the bridal fashion industry. Armed with her experience from Parsons School of Design in New York, Julianne brings a new twist to the classic aesthetic. In just over a year in the industry, Julianne's creations have been worn by clients from different parts of the Philippines and the world. Some of the dresses have also been worn by some of the country's biggest celebrities and have graced the covers of big publications.

Cary Santiago
Cary Santiago has been dubbed the go-to designer of Philippines' powerful women. The designer has a distinct style — one look and you'll know it's by Cary. Each garment is intricately detailed, beautifully crafted. Cary is one of the driving forces of Philippine fashion — a testament of Filipino ingenuity and craftsmanship.
