Growing up I would always smile shyly. I'd never show my teeth because the two ones in the front are crooked. I grew out of that insecurity (thanks in part to my husband telling me that they don't look awful like I think and that they sort of look like butterfly wings).

My issues with oral health have not disappeared, though, much to my dismay. See, when you drink coffee every single day of your life, your teeth are bound to get stained. I would know. My pearly whites aren't exactly pearly white.

I've tried different kinds of toothpastes in the market – one that promises instant results, one that promises gradual whitening and more. And then I had an epiphany of some sort. Just like in makeup, no matter how good your product is, if you don't have the right tools, it's not gonna give you the results you're expecting.

So, I tried the Oral B Pro-Health Cross Action toothbrush and so far I really like it.

Apart from how my teeth look, I'm also conscious about how they feel when I touch them with my tongue. I love it when my teeth feel squeaky clean and the Oral B Pro-Health Cross Action toothbrush makes sure I get that satisfying feeling every after brush.

When you're confident that your oral health is well taken care off, it's easier to share a smile. It makes you feel more at ease with yourself and makes others more at ease with you!

Plus, there are a lot of health issues you can prevent by just making sure that you clean your teeth and mouth well. (Did you know that not brushing your teeth can lead to dementia and heart disease?!) So it's only fitting that we start caring more for our oral health and make sure we can share healthier and more confident smiles. #SmilePilipinas.
