My makeup routine has been sized down to four steps. I’d say it’s because I’m finally no longer a pseudo-minimalist — that I’ve actually succeeded in Marie Kondo-ing my stash and left only four items — but it’s more because of my mood (or lack of drive, if I’m being really honest). More often than not I’d go out of the house with absolutely nothing on my face (even sunscreen, I’m so sorry). But this morning, I finally had the urge to paint a bit and one of the very few things I made sure to use was the Human Nature Perfect Flush Cream Tint. I have it in the shade Hibiscus, which is described on the brand’s website as “red.” In person it’s not a true red but more on the brick side color-wise. It is wonderful.

Packaging

When I first received it a few months ago, I thought it was a liquid lipstick. It comes in a rectangle casing with a doe foot applicator. The case is clear, which is great for knowing how much product you’ve already used up. The doe foot applicator is standard; nothing to write home about and nothing you’d be annoyed with either.

Texture, color and application

There’s no better way to describe the texture than cream, as in it’s straight-up a cream product. While the color is described as red and looks a bit more brick on the tube, on the skin it applies like a dark pink on me. I put only three dots on my cheeks before blending it out for a natural-looking flush. Today, I applied another layer to intensify the look a bit because I’ve been liking the drunk blush look (on other people so I wanted to try it on myself).

How Human Nature Perfect Flush Cream Tint in Hibiscus looks like when applied
Hey, it’s me. :p This is how the cream tint looks like when applied on NC30 skin.

It’s easy to blend and doesn’t come off as streaky. I used it on my bare face today and it looked great. I’ve also tried it on top of foundation before and got the same results. I used a brush to blend the product when I used it with foundation on and it looked good.

I also have to mention that I enjoy and appreciate that this product doesn’t stain the fingers when you use them to blend it out.

Needless to say, I enjoy using the Human Nature Perfect Flush Cream Tint a lot. If you’re looking for a blush that’s pigmented, easy to blend and stays on for hours — this one stays on for more than eight! — get yourself a tube of this now.
