I don’t subscribe to the kilay is life (eyebrows are life) mentality. Yes, I can leave the house without any eyebrow product on. And yes, I don’t care if other people see me with unruly brows. But can you imagine doing a full face of makeup and leaving your eyebrows bare? Of course, those with naturally thick and well-shaped brows can get away with it. For most of us, though, it just doesn’t look as good as when we actually have something that frames our faces.
The pencil has just the right texture for me. It’s not too waxy, but it’s not too creamy either. The size is also just right as it gives quite thin strokes. The color of the pencil is also a good match for my dark brows. I’ve yet to color my hair lighter, so this is perfect. I’ve found the powder’s color a bit dark for me, though.
I was a bit heavy-handed in applying the product during my first few tries, so the key is in not getting too excited.
Overall, I enjoy using this product. I would just need to get a lighter shade after I use the one currently in my stash. It would also work better with a clear brow gel on top (to keep the brows in place).
